Shawarma and fattoush [step-by-step]

Ingredients (for shawarma):
Two pounds of boneless skinless chicken breasts
2 packs of markouk bread
shawarma spices (ground spices):
● one teaspoon of cardamom
● one teaspoon of paprika
● one teaspoon black pepper
● one teaspoon cloves
● one teaspoon coriander
● one teaspoon ginger
● one teaspoon turmeric
● one teaspoon garlic
● half teaspoon cinnamon
● one teaspoon cumin
Marinating sauce
● one whole lemon (cut up)
● one teaspoon of minced garlic
● half a cup of yogurt
● quarter cup of extra virgin olive oil
● one tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
● salt
Procedure (for shawarma):
(Step 1) Place all shawarma spices in a large bowl and lightly mix. (Step 2) Prepare the marinating sauce by placing the cut lemon, minced garlic, and yogurt in a food processor. (Step 3) Pour the mixture on top of the spices then mix until well incorporated. (Step 4) Add olive oil and apple cider vinegar to the mixture then mix again. (Step 5) Cut chicken breast into thin strips then season with salt. (Step 6) Add prepared mixture to the chicken strips and mix everything together then marinate the chicken for at least 2 hours or overnight in the fridge. (Step 7) Preheat the oven to 350 degrees then roast chicken for approximately 45 mins. (Step 8)Use Markouk bread to stuff the chicken inside then roll up. (Step 9)Spread a little bit of olive oil on top of the shawarma wrap, then grill it for around 3-5 mins. (Step 10) Cut shawarma in halves or smaller pieces, then serve with fattoush and homemade fries. Enjoy!

Make sure to wash!
● one whole lettuce
● 2 tomatoes
● one cucumber
● one bunch of green onions
● one sweet pepper
● fried pita bread or croutons
Fattoush dressing
● one fully squeezed lemon
● one tablespoon of sumac
● 3 tbsp of extra virgin olive oil
● salt
Procedure(for fattoush):
(Step 1) Slice the lettuce and green onions and put them in a large bowl. (Step 2) Mince tomatoes, cucumber, and sweet peppers. (Step 3)Add the dressing and mix everything together. (Step 4) Top the fattoush with fried pita bread cubes or croutons and serve with shawarma. Enjoy!
